Mexican Rice

Ingredients
1 tbsp oil
¾ cups rice
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 pinch of (Mexican) Orégano
½ tsp ground cumin
1 tsp salt
⅓ cup tomato sauce
2 cups warm chicken broth
Directions
Toast rice in some oil in a cast iron pan or a wide Dutch oven
Add in the tomato sauce, spices, simmer for 1–2′, then broth.
Add lid and keep lid on until finished. Don’t peek!
